Tabooleh offers an inviting atmosphere and inspired menu which blends traditional middle-eastern cuisine with local ingredients. The buffet offers many Mediterranean and North African dishes featuring lamb, seafood, gyros, schwarma, a full salad bar (with pickled everything!) and delicious baklava, among other desserts. Vegetarians, vegans, and those with food sensitivities will find many clearly-labeled options. Tabooleh opened in the spring of 2018 and has become a fast favorite of Executive Director, Hillary Ramaker. Tabooleh is located on the Coralville strip (in the building which formerly housed Lone Star Steakhouse). There is plenty of free parking in front of the restaurant. We'll enjoy the lunch buffet ($10.95/person). Please let Hillary know if you have any questions. The Social and Cultural Programming committee host a Dine Around monthly program for TRAIL members. Join in when and if you please and we will try different restaurants all around the area. Members will pay for all your own charges.
