The State Historical Society of Iowa invites you to join Asst. Professor Emiliano Aguilar of the University of Notre Dame in a talk outlining the rich history of Iowa's Latina/o community.

Once dubbed "Invisible Iowans," this talk invites attendees to learn about the rich history of Iowa's Latina/o community from their journeys to the Hawkeye State, to form various organizations, and how they continue to reshape the state today.

The Iowa History 101 webinars share Iowa stories and the history of the state through a cultural history lens on the second and fourth Thursdays of each month. Registration is required for each event and to receive a link to the recorded program.
