What is this?
Try something new to you! This is so much fun and the naturalists help the getting in and out and are with us.
Join us at Kent Park for a kayaking experience exploring the lake. All skill levels welcome.
Kristen Morrow, DNR education specialist, and one other will meet us with kayaks and life jackets. We will explore the Kent Park Lake and learn the skills of getting in and out of a kayak, as well as paddling.
Wear clothes to fit the weather. If you have waterproof shoes or sandals you may want to wear them. Also, maybe have a dry change of clothes/shoes in the car, just in case.
Weather will make a difference. If the staff deems it too windy etc., they will reschedule. Kristen will let Barb know that morning if it is a no-go.
Take Highway 6 and pass Lowe’s. Drive on through Tiffin and drive about 4.9 miles to Kent Park entrance. Turn right and wind around keeping to the right until you see the sign that says Boat Ramp and Anglers Parking. Turn left and come to parking lot. We will meet you there.
There is a bathroom here.
