The Iowa City Jazz Festival is back this year with another outstanding line-up of local talent and nationally and internationally known superstars.
The three-day event begins Friday evening with artists’ booths, beverage garden, culinary and the first side stage performance at 5 PM. Things pick up again on Saturday at 11:30 AM and continue all day, with the annual Iowa City fireworks display over the Pentacrest at 9:30 PM. And there’s more fun to come on Sunday with performances beginning at noon and finishing with Iowa City’s favorite salsa band, Orquestra Alta Maiz, at 3 PM.
