In case you missed its 2021 debut last weekend, the Iowa City Farmers Market has returned to an in-person format with COVID precautions in place. Customers, vendors, and staff will be required to wear masks while attending the market, and customer access to the Chauncey Swan parking garage will be limited to both the north and south entrances. Still, it’s great to be able to sample the wares and see everyone face-to-face again!

Market organizers ask you to remember these tips:

• Help us ensure we operate our markets safely. If you are feeling sick, please stay home. 
• Wear a mask or face covering to the markets until further notice. It will be required. We've made it part of our uniform. 
• Don't bring your furry friends. As always, animals are not allowed at the market. 
• Plan to use credit cards. Cash will be accepted but it’s not encouraged. Bring small bills if you do use cash. Credit and debit cards, EBT/SNAP (Electronic Benefit Transfer/Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) cards, and DUFB (Double Up Food Bucks) are accepted.
