April 22, 2020, marks the 50th anniversary of Earth Day. A group of Iowa-based environmental organizations will celebrate the occasion with the first-ever #IowaVirtualEarthDay. Environment Iowa and its partners, including our local Bur Oak Land Trust, will host a virtual rally featuring local climate leaders while providing Iowans the opportunity to #ActonClimate, noting that "staying home does not mean staying silent."
