Did you know April is Jazz Appreciation Month? One way that local jazz station KCCK (88.3FM) celebrates the occasion each year is to invite student musicians to be guest DJs. This year, as the station says, “we’re not going to let a little thing like a global pandemic get in the way!” Students from area high school jazz programs join KCCK General Manager Dennis Green remotely to talk about music, and play some of their favorite songs. The shows are pre-recorded and air at 4pm most weekdays during April. Today’s duo are Emma Bock & Renee Hasselbusch from Lisbon.
