What is this?
TRAIL members have a wonderful opportunity to experience a behind-the-scenes tour of the historic Englert Theatre. You'll learn about the early history of the theatre, including a tragic fire, mysterious symbols, and about the lives of some of the earliest performers. The tour will take the group onto the stage and back into the dressing rooms to view historical artifacts and maybe hear a ghost story or two!
Tour participants should gather in the Englert Theatre lobby accessible via the Washington Street entrance.
The tour requires the ability to navigate stairs. Members with accessibility needs should contact host, Susan Spaziani. Metered, street parking is available on surrounding streets. Parking can also be found in the nearby Tower Place and Dubuque Street parking ramps.
