About this event
Have you ever wondered about the large sculptures along North Scott Boulevard? They’re part of the Harvest Preserve, which you’ll be able to tour and learn more about at this special luncheon event.

Situated in the northeast corner of Iowa City, the Harvest Preserve includes 100 acres of lovely rolling landscape, with trails, a pond and pond house, patio, and butterfly house. The property is owned by the Harvest Preserve Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to restoring and maintaining native Iowa prairie and woodlands, preserving healthy aquaculture, and cultivating public awareness, appreciation, and participation. The Harvest Preserve was established as a spiritual sanctuary and there are a number of sculptures around the property that invite visitors to enjoy, study, and meditate on each work. Julie from the Harvest Preserve Foundation will give a short presentation during this event.
Join us as we learn more and get a chance to explore this gem of nature in the heart of the city!
Note: The entrance to the preserve along N. Scott Boulevard can be tricky to find, and it will look like you are driving into a field. We will post signs by the entry gate, which is across the road from the big haunted barn.
