Why do people love reading horror novels? Maybe it’s the thrill of being scared or the sense of terror or dread that builds as they read.
Horror crosses genres too – from fiction to science fiction/horror or mystery/horror. As Halloween approaches, gather a few of your favorite frights and join Iowa City Public Library staff for a great discussion.
Let's Talk Books is not a traditional book group. They meet on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month on Zoom to talk about favorite books in a specific genre or on a set topic, and each participant comes away with some new titles to add to their to-be-read lists.
Register in advance and you'll receive a confirmation email with the Zoom login details. You'll also get a reminder email a few days before the event. Everyone is welcome!
