What can we learn when generations truly talk and listen to one another? The Iowa City Senior Center invites you to join University of Iowa first-year students and community members for a one-time intergenerational conversation centered on storytelling, curiosity, and connection.
In small groups, participants will share experiences and explore how family, work, community, technology, and major life changes have shaped different generations.
This event is part of the University of Iowa's Beyond Volunteering: Changing Your World Through Community Engagement seminar. Organizers invite participants to bring their perspectives while hearing from students about their own experiences and hopes for the future.
