About this event

Many people think of nonfiction books as a source of information only; somewhere to consult to find an answer to a question. But there are lots of nonfiction genres that are just plain fun to read, too.

From biographies and memoirs, to travel writing or true crime, nonfiction has something for everyone. The Iowa City Public Library invites you to gather a few of your favorites and join in an enjoyable discussion.

Not a traditional book group, Let's Talk Books is a series of casual online conversations about books. Participants meet on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month on Zoom to talk about their favorite books in a specific genre or on a theme that changes each time. Each person brings a few titles to share, and by the end of the discussion everyone has a few new titles on their to-be-read list.

Register here and you'll receive a confirmation email with the Zoom login details. You'll also get a reminder email a few days before the event.

Everyone is welcome!
