The Iowa City Senior Center is marking America’s 250th Birthday in a big way, with a day-long “Red, White, and Blue” celebration of history, music, and community. They invite you to join them for some or all of these free events:
Hamilton movie screening: 10 AM in Room 302

Join us for a special flag-raising ceremony in recognition of America's 250th anniversary.
Pie Reception: 1-2 PM in the 1st Floor Lobby
Enjoy a festive pie reception featuring classic apple and cherry pie. A time to gather, visit, and celebrate community!
Lyrics Alive: America 250 Sing-Along & Veterans Tribute: 2-3:30 PM in the Assembly Room
Sing along with Jon Ranard on piano and Jim Schepker on guitar for a special America 250 celebration featuring patriotic songs, music of peace and hope, and an Armed Forces Medley honoring veterans from each branch of service.
