In this interactive Iowa City Senior Center session, attorney Jill Watskey will discuss the different ways your assets can pass to your loved ones when you die.
Specifically, she will cover documents like the Revocable Living Trust and Last Will and Testament. This session will also discuss options such as joint ownership and payable-on-death (POD) beneficiary designations. Each of these options have pros and cons and we will talk about those in detail. We will also spend time discussing which option might be best given a person’s particular asset situation and wishes.
