About this event
The Iowa City Senior Center invites you to broaden your horizons with an afternoon of speed friendshipping!
Meet new people through a series of brief chats in a speed-dating format. Find out what you have in common, learn new things about the lives and interests of others, and share your own unique stories and perspectives. People of all ages and backgrounds are encouraged to participate to connect across diverse experiences and identities.
The event will start with a group icebreaker activity, proceed to a rotation of timed one-on-one conversations, and end with refreshments and unstructured mingling. Don’t miss this fun opportunity to make new connections with folks in your community!
