About this event

As part of its Movies for Grownups series, AARP invites you to a free online viewing of Aging in America: Survive or Thrive, narrated by Martin Sheen.
The one-hour documentary celebrates the promise of increased longevity while addressing crucial and unprecedented public policy challenges. Using Dr. Robert Butler’s Pulitzer Prize-winning book, Why Survive? as a guide, Aging in America examines critical topics such as ageism, healthcare, economic insecurity, and Alzheimer’s disease.
This program will broadcast live October 15 from 7 PM to 8:10 PM CDT. You will not be able to pause or rewind. You cannot access the show once the broadcast ends. Registration is required.
The Movies for Grownups series spotlights films that resonate with older audiences and help fight ageism in entertainment. Participation is free, and AARP membership is not required.
