About this event

Johnson County Conservation invites you to join them for a guided hike through time to explore the story of Iowa’s geology.
From glacial advances and erosion to the Devonian seas that once covered this region over 400 million years ago. If you are a geology buff or just want to know more about why the landscape is the way it is, this is a hike for you. This is a slow-paced, 1.5- to 3-mile hike through hills and some steep slopes, with uneven terrain.
Registration automatically closes one day in advance. If you are fully registered, you can expect to receive an email "receipt" from MyCountyParks after registration. You will also receive an email from the leading naturalist a couple days in advance of the program. If you do not receive these emails, you may not be registered; call 319-645-1011 for assistance in this case.
JCC is committed to providing equal opportunity for participation in all programs, services and activities. We welcome and encourage people with disabilities to attend programs and events. Accommodations may be requested by contacting naturalist staff at 319-645-1011 or jccnaturalists@gmail.com.
