Calling all nostalgic and fun-loving grown-ups! Have you ever wished you could go back to summer camp? Here's your chance. Spend the day at the Iowa City Public Library Adult Day Camp!
Your counselors Beth, Candice, and Stacey will lead participants through a bunch of fun camp-ish activities including arts and crafts, fun and games, and quiet times for reading – all to bring back the joys of summer camp. Relax, have fun, and be a kid again.
This year's activities will include spreading cheer with sidewalk chalk at the bus exchange, DIY postcards, learning about the upcoming Perseid meteor shower, wax paper sun catchers, a dirty soda bar, and quiet reading times.
Bring a book you're reading, a water bottle, and your willingness to be a little goofy.
Lunch will be on your own or you can bring a sack lunch and hang out with us "at camp."
