About this event
Gloria Dei Lutheran Church invites you to attend an exciting learning opportunity they are hosting this summer.
The Seniors Summer Series includes four evening presentations, one per month from June through September, on topics relevant to aging residents given by local experts who are passionate about the wellbeing of Johnson county's citizens.
Each evening begins with a free meal starting at 4:30 PM, followed by a presentation on online safety, navigating Medicare, community resources for seniors, and wills, trusts, and long-term care planning. The schedule is as follows:
- June 24: Protecting Yourself Online
- July 22: Navigating Insurance Choices
- August 26: Helping Resources in Our Community
- September 23: Estate, Will, Trust, and Long-term Care Planning
The entire evening is free of charge, and registration can be done online or by calling the church office at 319-338-2893. Registration is limited to 150, so sign up soon!
