University of Iowa Mobile Health Clinic
About this event

Drop by the Iowa City Public Library to talk with UI Mobile Clinic volunteers about a variety of health topics. Clinic operations are staffed by student and UI faculty volunteers.
Free health services include:
- Vitals: Blood pressure, heart rate
- Labs: Cholesterol & diabetes (HbA1C) testing
- Exercise + nutrition: Programming and education
- Prescription for medication refills
- Free eyeglasses for reading
- Visit with a doctor
The University of Iowa Mobile Clinic is an interdisciplinary student organization founded in 2002 that provides free health screening, prevention, education, and basic health services to underserved and uninsured populations throughout the state of Iowa.
