Iowa Arts Festival and Summer Gallery Walk
About this event
The Iowa Arts Festival is an award-winning, weekend-long community celebration and Iowa City tradition that celebrated 40 years in 2023. The event features over 100 local, regional and national visual artists in the Art Fair, and on Saturday and Sunday, youth artists ages 16-25 are featured in the Emerging Artist Area.
But that’s not all: there are local and nationally known music performances, food vendors serving regional and ethnic dishes, and creative, educational activities and entertainment for children. It’s the most anticipated art event of the summer!
Tonight's events include the Summer Gallery Walk throughout downtown Iowa City, from 5 to 8 PM, with stops that include the Senior Center and the UI Stanley Museum of Art.
