Coralville is one of the most diverse cities in the state. Among its vibrant communities, Asian American make up 9.4% of the population, or approximately 2,120 residents.
The Coralville Asian Festival is dedicated to creating and sustaining an inclusive, welcoming, and a safe space where neighbors can connect positively and celebrate the contributions of our Asian community to the rich cultural fabric of Coralville and the broader Johnson County.
This annual festival aims to promote Asian cultures and provide educational experiences, fostering a more supportive, diverse community and encouraging openness to equity and equality across our city and county. Through this meaningful cultural exchange, organizers aspire to build a stronger, kinder community.
