Stroke is a leading cause of death in the United States. In this program, sponsored by the Iowa City Senior Center and featuring presenters from University of Iowa Health Care, attendees will learn how to recognize stroke symptoms and important strategies for stroke prevention.

 

This session will also explore stroke care from a historical perspective in addition to the impact of the disease locally, globally, and on select populations.
