TOOLS AND RESOURCES FOR ACTIVE, INDEPENDENT LIVING

TRAIL of Johnson County is a nonprofit, membership-based organization whose mission is to help older adults successfully age in place by providing Tools and Resources for Active, Independent Living. We are part of a nationwide network called Village to Village, with more than 200 aging-in-place organizations across the country. TRAIL welcomes your involvement as a member, volunteer, contributor, pre-screened service provider, or all of the above!

When aging-in-place is your lifestyle choice

The Iowa City area is known as a top retirement destination. TRAIL's goal is to make it even better, by helping local residents live and age safely and comfortably in their own homes.

For a monthly fee, TRAIL members gain the peace of mind that comes from being part of an extended network of caring volunteers, trusted service providers, and new friends.
