Come to a three course afternoon tea party! We will begin with Scones and Savories along with tea. Then top that off with sweets and more tea. When you arrive choose the table with the tea setting you like. There will be a large table with a collection of teapots to look at and enjoy.
The tea will begin with sharing points of tea etiquette. While enjoying the tea, a local storyteller will share stories of “ life in the early Amanas.” You can choose to “dress” for tea, wear a fun hat and gloves, or “come as you are”! The cost for the tea is $18.00 plus tax and can be paid directly to the hotel on the day of the event. There will be white tea hats for sale if you’d like to purchase one when you arrive. Members may bring along friends who are not TRAIL members. To register them for the event, click "Register Now", select "Sign up yourself", and click "Next" at the bottom of the page. The second page asks if you'd like to register a guest for the event. Click the green button next to "Add guest to registration" and fill out the name and contact email for your guest. Click "Complete Registration" on the third page to reserve your spot at the tea. You may also call the TRAIL office at (319) 800-9003 to confirm the reservation for you and your guest.
