We have the ability to install and use technology to control your home's lights, thermostat, blinds, security systems, even your doorbell. This technology can keep utility costs low, put your least favorite tasks on auto-pilot, and ensure the safety of your home and belongings. But with so many choices, many of us wonder where to begin.

Presented by Phil O'Brien, Urban Acres Realtor, Creating a Smarter Home will answer those questions and more. O'Brien is a self-described "gadget person" and is enthusiastic about sharing his favorite devices and the nuts-and-bolts for how to install and use these technologies.

O'Brien will demonstrate products like digital assistants (think Apple's Siri and Amazon's Alexa), and specific products related to home security and utility management. If there are specific products or apps you are interested in learning about, please contact Hillary.
